And, I have to say, the difference we are making in the lives of our clients has exceeded all of my expectations.”

“There’s nothing like Inclusively Fit out there. I realized that the first time I stepped into the facility. The staff is very close, as we are all here for the same reasons, to pursue our goals as fitness professionals, and to do our absolute best to help our clients achieve whatever they want to achieve. “I have taught special education and adaptive physical education in the local grade school and have a lot of experience with students with disabilities. However, I was searching for a way to continue to serve individuals outside of the classroom. Inclusively Fit provides that opportunity, where individuals of all abilities can pursue their fitness goals in an environment that is welcoming and accommodating. It has been an amazing experience to see the improvements clients have made here at Inclusively Fit and look forward to continuing to witness those milestone improvements for years to come.”

My goal and passion is to not only work with my clients on physical goals but also to incorporate my professional training to focus on the ENTIRE person, as the Inclusively Fit mission outlines. Inclusively Fit allows me to put my passion into practice.”

“Upon graduating from college, I wanted to practice my skills in hopes in changing people’s views on health. When discovering Inclusively Fit and seeing the amazing work that it does for the special needs population, I knew this place where I could actually make that happen. Exercise and health have always been an important part of my life and being able to make an influential impact with these families, will be very gratifying. They truly need the life-changing assistance I intend to share.”



OUR FACILITIES


Located in Sterling Heights, Inclusively Fit is a fully equipped fitness facility designed with the special needs community in mind. In addition to an open obstacle course and basketball court, we provide professional-grade training equipment, including ellipticals, treadmills, arc trainers, stair masters and more.

Our facility also includes strength training equipment from, as well as free weights and dumbbells. We have a professional and caring staff that works with each client as well as caregivers when appropriate to design individual programs that meet their unique needs and circumstances.

With over 5,000 square feet of space, Inclusively Fit is able to offer all of the resources required to design and implement fitness and wellness routines to meet the needs of every person, from entry-level rehabilitation to more robust fitness regiments. All guided by our highly skilled trainers in a welcoming and accepting environment.

Our Board


GRETCHEN BACKER

Director of the Program Review Division of Michigan Department of Health & Human Services, Medical Services Administration in Lansing. A physical therapist with over thirty in practice, specializing in pediatrics, including direct patient care, research involving rehab treatment methodologies and rehabilitation technology.


HEATHER DEVOS

Communications and Outreach Specialist for the Area Agency on Aging 1-B, a local non-profit serving older adults and adults with special needs. Extensive 20+ year career experience with fundraising, outreach and program development within AAA 1-B and other local non-profits. Heather has an adult son with disabilities whom she continually advocates for and has dedicated her career to serving others who are experiencing daily and lifelong challenges.


MIKE MCINERNEY

Former Executive VP/General Counsel of a $1.8B tier one global automotive supplier. Former President/CEO of a $500M tier one/two automotive supplier. Presently President/CEO of multiple companies in the real estate investment, development and consulting business, including in the office, commercial, industrial, hospitality and church sectors. On the Archdiocese of Detroit Finance Council and the Metro Detroit YMCA Board.


GREG RALKO

Former President and COO of a New Jersey retail media company. Former Vice President of Little Caesars International and Director of Overseas development for Domino’s Pizza International. Father of Mark Ralko, founder of Inclusively Fit.


MIKE RUCINSKI

President & Owner of Michigan Tax & Business Services, Inc. President/Treasurer of The Phoenix Ensemble, an Ann Arbor organization formed to promote music education for young students. Previous Treasurer at Emerson School, a private elementary school specializing in instruction for gifted and academically talented students.


JAY SAWMILLER

President/CEO and Managing Partner at Johnston Lewis Associates, a full-line insurance agency located in Troy, MI.


JEFFREY STEIGERWALD

Vice President of Private Duty Nursing and Home Rehabilitation for Centria Healthcare. Named one of DBusiness magazine’s 30 in their Thirties, a board member for the under 40 Make-A-Wish Foundation, a member of Concerned Association of Patients & Providers (C.A.P.P.), a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, and involved with American Cancer Society’s Real Men Wear Pink.
